This weekend, widely acclaimed Icelandic Chef Viktor Örn Andrésson will be joining Chef Andrew Whitcomb and the team at Norman in creating two distinctive four-course tasting menus.

Viktor comes to us from Lava, a stunning Icelandic restaurant built into the cliffs overlooking a devastatingly beautiful lagoon. He's trading that all for Greenpoint for but four days, where he will be serving up Icelandic specialties like Arctic char with dill, green apple and roe; grilled langoustine with spruce; and Icelandic Skyr with wild blueberries.

Chef Andrew's tasting menu is also solid, and includes such delights as raw oyster with licorice oil; pork neck with sprouted barley and roasted blue oyster mushroom; and sun choke ice cream with hazelnut milk.

Sep 28-Oct 1, $55, Norman, 29 Norman Ave (at Dobbin), Brooklyn, 347-966-2092, reservations here
