It’s On

A Creative Brewpub in East Dallas

Oh, hello.

Didn’t see you there.

We were too distracted by the prospect of jalapeño and cucumber beers.

See for yourself at On Rotation, a neighborhood bar and brewpub that’s making some unique beers and pouring lots of others, now open in East Dallas.

Here’s what it looks like, and here’s more stuff to know.

It’s all sleek and minimalist inside, with white subway tiles, a gray concrete bar and multicolored bar stools. Plus a big window that looks into the brewing room. That’s where the beer is brewed. That was probably obvious.

They’ve got 40 taps pouring a good mix of locals and not locals, so you’ll find plenty to like.

The house-brewed stuff is coming soon. Those will launch at the end of February, and those will include a couple standbys like an IPA and an amber, plus a couple creative numbers like a jalapeño saison and a cucumber blonde.

Growler fills start Friday, so that’s helpful for any activities (something about a football game...) that might benefit from 64-ounce beer vessels.

Pizza. They don’t serve food, but you can still eat here via to-go orders placed at next-door neighbor Cane Rosso.

Beer and pizza... that’s just so crazy it might work.
