It’s no secret that Cardi B is from the Bronx. In fact, not knowing that about her raises more questions about you than anything else. The rapper came to fame through her Instagram videos that led to regular appearances on Love & Hip Hop: New York. At some point during her meteoric rise, she managed to also fit in a gig as a spokeswoman for the Romance Depot.
Twitter user Marcia Herold recorded the commercial which has started airing (again?) recently on late night TV.

Romantic Depot is a sex toy shop with locations in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan, and if you enter one and mention Cardi B you can leave with a free sex toy. I have to imagine there are just people casually talking about her without reference to the commercial and are pleasantly surprised with a free sex toy. Props to Romantic Depot for not only recognizing Cardi B's early talent but re-releasing these commercials now that she's arguably one of the most famous entertainers in the world.
Twitter is already lauding the commercial as the best local NYC commercial of all-time. Now, not to go all Kanye on them, but Corner Furniture commercial is the best local NYC commercial of all time. Then again, they weren't giving out free sex toys, which is actively working against them.
