Waiter, There's a Beer Bar In My Apartment

30 Taps, Two Stories and Heated Games of Scrabble in the Arts District

In hindsight, your old college roommate may have been on to something, drunk as they mostly were.

But maybe you should have turned your apartment into a bar after all.

If you only knew then what you know now...

But these days you've got Three Sheets Craft Beer Bar, a discrete watering hole now open and in full control of an entire two-story unit of an Arts District apartment complex. Take a look inside.

You'll want to come in with some friends as soon as they open, really. As you'll shortly behold a spread of rotating beers on 30 shiny taps that requires your attention. It's literally one of the only things to notice in the straightforward space besides the industrial bar top, chained-off spiral staircase and board game selection. But perhaps its simplicity is also its genius.

And soon you won't really care, as you battle some social media-obsessed divorcee in a game of Scrabble while swigging a Love Juice #11 IPA made nearby in Henderson. The stakes will be a pint of Californian nitro peanut butter milk stout. And you will let them win, because you're nice like that.

A certain friend you texted earlier will come by to meet you and you'll lead them upstairs by the hand, where more taps await. Bourbon barrel Quad in hand, you'll proceed to the courtyard, school them the finer points of corn hole and get a little closer.

The next morning, you'll send an old friend a text, letting them know you finally get the whole residential bar thing.

But they'll be too busy running Microsoft to answer back.
