Boy Meets World Is on Hulu Now, So I Guess I Have to Get Hulu Now

Dammit.

An Emmy-award winning adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale, starring Elisabeth Moss.

Difficult People with Billy Eichner, who I find very funny, getting into what appears to be neurotic New York-y situations, of which I’m also a fan.

You know, the other one, with Michaela Watkins laughing in a bathtub.

The sum of those three shows were not enough to get me to cough up the $8 per month it would require to get Hulu. But reruns of Boy Meets World? Sign. Me. The fuck. Up.

Yup, as part of Hulu’s TGIF lineup, which also includes Full House, Family Matters and Step by Step, the platform has just today added the long-running ABC teen sitcom, starring the better Savage, My Date with the President’s Daughter star Will Friedle and Rider Strong, who was the only reason I endured the 2002 horror movie, Cabin Fever. Apparently, they were betting on dudes like me who watched every episode when they were growing up, and subsequently rewatched every episode when they had access to DVR and weed in high school, to fork over the monthly fee. (This was a great bet.)

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go spend an inordinate amount of time catching up with Cory, Topanga, Eric, Shawn, Angela, Minkus, Mr. Feeny, and Adam Scott-Griff (not other actor-Griff), seeking sweet refuge in a gleefully sanitized version of adolescence where kids only ever made out and nobody in college drank alcohol. Hopefully, I can binge enough episodes to get to that classic Halloween episode, guest-starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Jennifer Love Fefferman (Feffie, for short), by October 31st.

This could get ugly.
