Most doctors say you should drink no more than four cups of coffee a day.

No doctors say that you can’t drink them all at once.

At least that’s what we’re going with for today...

Step right up to Fairgrounds Craft Coffee and Tea, a fancy new Bucktown coffee shop where matcha is poured over strawberry ice cream, sage kombucha is on tap and coffee comes in flights. It opens Wednesday, and here’s the slideshow.

It’s a bit of a circus, as you might decipher from the giant neon “F” and vintage sideshow tchotchkes. If not, they have funnel cake fries and soft pretzels with Stumptown Nitro cheese dip to drive the theme home.

Yes, they have drinkable coffee, too. Lots of it. From barrel-aged Dark Matter to Colectivo espresso to Stumptown cold brew. But, bonus: since it’s also served in flights of three, you don’t really have to choose.

A sizable food menu will help keep those caffeine shakes under control. You’ll be looking at things like breakfast tacos with charred-tomato salsa and avocado toast with lemon-matcha vinaigrette.

None of those have coffee in them.
