And turns out, their smoking lounges aren’t half bad either.
Roll into Davidoff of Geneva, a new Swiss cigar store that’s the exact opposite of most other cigar stores, now open at Buckhead Atlanta. (Your slideshow.)
Couple things here:
It’s sort of really nice inside.
Lots of wood and leather. Very modern. Very tobacco-y. Kind of looks like Frank Lloyd Wright designed some sort of home office for Winston Churchill.
Your first stop should be the walk-in humidor.
They’ve got over 300 different kinds of cigars, but maybe start with the spicy Atlanta blend that’s exclusive to this store.
After that, you’ll need smoking accoutrements.
They’re back in the main room. Tools like gold- and palladium-coated lighters, porcelain ashtrays and desktop humidors. Also cufflinks, because that’s a cigar power play.
Then, on to the lounge.
There, you’ll relax in leather chairs, watch football on the flat-screen and light up. Contemporary jazz may be involved.
And it gets better when you join as a VIP.
Soon, you’ll have access to an additional private smoking lounge, cigar lockers and a conference room where you’ll hold very urgent tobacco-related meetings.
Some sort of fantasy draft seems appropriate.
