Lens with Benefits

A Trial Service for Cameras. Huh.

None
Hey, look over there.

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a Baton Bob. It’s that hilarious sign-flipping guy on Ponce. It’s someone riding an inflatable sea horse down the street while eating cake and lighting things on fire.

Whatever it is, you should probably take a picture of it.

Here’s your camera...

Adjust your shutter speed for Lumoid, a new service that lets you rent a bunch of cameras and camera equipment, try them out and send them back if you don’t like them, online now.

The site’s broken up into three product types: bodies, lenses and accessories. You’ll place orders based on what you need. Maybe you already have a camera but want to try a different lens. Maybe you just need a good wrist strap. Feel free to mix and match until you find the perfect combination.

They lease kits, too. So perhaps trust them and go with something like the Road Trip. It comes with a DSLR camera and two lenses. You should probably also get a helmet strap mount and a GoPro to be safe. You know road trips.

And bonus: each time you rent something, you’ll be building up credit toward an actual purchase.

Your camera accountant approves.
