Someone’s Put Gin in Your Bourbon

Friday Happy Hour: A Tale of Two Liquors

The Olympics are coming to a close.

Summer’s days are numbered.

And today you start drinking bourbon with your gin.

It’s the circle of life. And it moves us all.

Take the Silver Bulleit. It’s a tag team of dry Dutch gin and Kentucky bourbon, plus citrus and sugar. It’s also quite refreshing and easy to make at home.

Oh, and it’s guaranteed to make you think of werewolves and Bob Seger and Coors.

So there’s also that.

Silver Bulleit

1 oz Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin
1 oz Bulleit Bourbon
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup

Muddle one slice of grapefruit in an Old Fashioned glass. Add ice and remaining ingredients, and stir. Garnish with a grapefruit wheel.
