Maybe you just watched Tom Brady divest you of your joy.

Maybe it’s the thought that 2020 is so far away.

Maybe you just happen to be in Vegas with an irresistible urge to hurl an axe at a stationary target.

Whatever it is, you’ll be pleased to hear Axe Monkeys exists—the new, and only, place to legally hurl an axe in Las Vegas, now entertaining your best Daniel Boone impressions.

It’s hard to believe there wasn’t already a place like this in Vegas, but you’re looking at the pioneer. Located just a few miles off the Strip for any respectable Vegas mischief that may involve bachelors or brand-new unions or friends turning older or whatever.

They take walk-ins, but reservations are encouraged. Once inside, you’ll notice a summer-camp-in-Westeros vibe, along with everything you might expect from a Vegas-ified hatchet-throwing operation:

Twenty-three throwing lanes with two stump targets each, separated by chain-link fences.

Three private rooms.

Professionals to teach you everything, including trick throws.

A treasure trove of other throwable stuff like ninja stars, knives and specialty axes that they’ll let you try once you’ve proven yourself proficient with the beginner’s axe.

First test: they’ll need to count your fingers.
