There’s only one restaurant in the world where it’s totally acceptable to consume hot dogs with tropical juice and fried pickles at 2am.

And it’s about time that restaurant landed in Vegas.

It’s Papaya King, and if you recognize the name, that’s probably because it’s home to one of Manhattan’s most iconic frankfurters. It’s open now, and here’s what you can expect.

To the uninitiated, the idea of pairing papaya juice or banana-berry smoothies with hot dogs might sound troubling. But rest assured: these guys have been doing just that for almost 85 years, garnering rave reviews from the likes of Julia Child and Anthony Bourdain. And God knows those two have had many meaningful hot dog encounters.

Just make for their classic neon sign at roughly 2:36am some evening, when your judgment is questionable and sugar and encased meat don’t sound regrettable. Then you’ll head to the counter, scan their menu and see this thing through.

That could mean ordering the King Combo featuring two sauerkraut-topped dogs, curly fries and a mango juice. Or perhaps it means you going for the pastrami-laden Upper East dog with fried Oreos.

Either way, there will be no room for regrets.
