Burritos are great.

This happens to be a deeply-held, personal belief of yours that you refuse to let society undo.

But what happens when you eat a burrito that's so damn good, you start to wonder if any of your past burrito-love was really real?

Prepare for a possible epiphany at BBQ Mexicana, a quick-stop lunch spot for barbecue-stuffed burritos and on-the-go margaritas, now open at Mandalay Bay right across from its mother restaurant, Border Grill. See the slideshow.

First and most importantly: the Burnt Ends Burrito. It now lives at this colorful walk-up counter, after beginning life as a fever dream on the legendary Truck U BBQ food truck. It's still the same behemoth comprised of smoked brisket, chipotle coleslaw and barbecue mole sauce. But now you'll find it's been updated with house-made chips and Manchego cheese. Just had to be.

You're going to need to order it. Even if you're a little hesitant to shed tears of joy in public. Of course, if you want to eat around the menu a little, bring some friends and share. That way you can dip a toe into the mesquite-smoked chicken bowl and try all the different aguas frescas and margaritas.

And burnt-end burritos aside, you can still bring that vegan you met under the speakers at Jammyland last night. They'll be getting the smoked tofu bowl with cilantro lime rice, habanero bbq sauce, charred corn relish, crunchy quinoa, smoked almonds and cowboy caviar.

Assure them that the cowboys were raised sustainably.
