We have a carnival arcade serving whiskey and funnel cakes in South Beach now.

We do. We have that.

It’s called Ricky’s, it’s currently open, and this slideshow contains pictures of it.

This is from the Menin crew, who gave us Bodega and Radio. And now that we’ve established that, here’s what you’ll be doing there...

Flexing those long-forgotten arcade muscles.
A claw machine. Pac-Man. Air hockey. Basketball Shootout. They say muscle memory kicks right back in for these sorts of things.

Eating funnel cakes and deep-fried Milky Ways.
Bernie Matz is taking on good old American fairground eats for this one. So you’ll also find smoked corn dogs and waffle mac and cheese on the menu, which we’ll go ahead and leave right here for you.

Making your own punch-in-a-barrel.
Yep, you’ll be doing that at your table with a group of friends. But if Pac-Man takes a toll on your mixing muscles, they’ve also got table-tap beer funnels and over 150 whiskeys ready for action.

Depending on what your definition of action is.

Jackie Gutierrez-Jones finds unhyphenated names quaint. She believes that croquetas and gin cocktails are suitable precursors to running and hoisting heavy weights over one’s head.
