Things you need to acquire six-pack abs: discipline. Commitment. Perseverance.

And a black light wouldn’t hurt either.

Welcome to Sensory, a little fitness studio that uses thumping music, lasers and an ultraviolet light or two to whip you into tip-top form, soft-opening Saturday in South Miami. (See the slideshow here.)

Meet Guillermo and Enrique. They’re the duo behind this place. Their combined background includes personal training, Pilates coaching and a doctorate in physical therapy. Safe to say they know how to get your blood pumping and your endorphins... endorphining.

So the next time you’re feeling a little stressed, you’ll come in here. You’ll give a nod to the sexy mannequin in the lobby and head into the studio. That’s when you’ll notice it’s darker than a typical workout space, and your shirt is glowing thanks to the aforementioned black light. Also: there are lasers and a fog machine. Hey, why not.

Then you’ll start following your instructor’s lead in one of five classes. There’s Strength (weights-based resistance training), Sweat (high-intensity martial arts), Stretch (Pilates/yoga fusion), Swing (dance cardio) and Six-Pack (an ab-and-core workout). Depending on which class you choose, you’ll be burning as many as 750 calories per hour.

Yes, they’ll have towels.
