It’s the Day After Monday (trademark pending). We get it.

So we’re cutting straight to the chase and sending you directly to a champagne bar...

... at La Table du Marché, a sliver of a French brasserie with homemade foie gras and a champagne-happy drink list, now open in Coral Gables.

Before you set out upon your journey, here’s a brief communiqué...

Technically, you could classify this as a date spot.
Because it’s cozy. It’s red. And yes, it’s French. But the four-tops in the outdoor breezeway would make for an intimate tête-à-tête between friends. Really. Just take a look.

Housemade foie gras happens here.
That’s thanks to chef Christophe Leroy. He has outposts of this place in Saint-Tropez, Morocco and SoBe. He’s also won awards in France. All good things in terms of your lobster roll and croque monsieur.

You should really like champagne.
Because there’s no wine. Or liquor. Just a bar devoted to things that bubble and pop.

There’s an oversize macaron on the menu.
It’s for dessert. It’s made with raspberries and pistachio cream. It’s the size of your palm.

Dessert is a misnomer.
