Each day you must make countless decisions.
So anything that makes your life a bit easier is worth investing in.
Until personal robots are in every home, we'll settle for functional clothes that perform well in any environment.
Sodo Athletic Lab is the new, relaunched vision of the former Sodo Apparel, and it's here to swaddle you in premium activewear designed specifically for men.
The gym, traveling, running errands, lounging around the house: These are all fitting occasions to slip on some comfortable tops and bottoms made with PFAS-free, eco-certified materials and sporting ergonomic phone pockets. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
“Men’s activewear is dominated by brands whose focus lies somewhere else — in shoes or womenswear, for example — and who largely produce low-quality, seasonal items on a fast production schedule,” said Matthew Stuart, Co-founder of Sodo Athletic Lab. “When we took over the reins at Sodo, we asked a simple question — what’s missing in the market and what is worth making?"
Turns out, the answer was this collection of thoughtfully designed activewear.
The company's philosophy revolves around intentional design that solves real-world challenges. For example, this latest collection focused on a key everyday essential — the phone — and crafted a new pocketing system to provide a more ergonomic and streamlined way to carry it. So now, you won't suffer the injustice of a bulky rectangular object ruining the cut of your pants or knocking against your leg as you move.
The brand is currently making six types of shorts, from the all-purpose Core Short with four-way stretch, to shorts designed for running, swimming and hiking. Your legs also get the Sodo jogger, with cargo pockets, water-repellent fabric and a tapered fit.
For your upper half, Sodo is making tanks, short-sleeve tees and long-sleeve tees, all with sweat-wicking, UPF 50 materials to keep you dry and protected from the sun. The collection is rounded out with three layering pieces: a track jacket, pullover hoodie and full-zip hoodie.
Most pieces are designed with muted earth tones and clean lines, so they're versatile and can be mixed and matched with other Sodo pieces or items in your current wardrobe. You'll look good, feel good, and ideally take that quiet confidence with you out into the world.
Ergonomic phone holsters have a way of doing that.
