Hypebeasts and cartoon cops unite. There's a Saucony x Dunkin’ Donuts collab effort. The lightweight running shoe arrives in the classic Saucony Kinvara 9 and accents Dunkin’s signature colors—as wholly represented in the tiny delicious sprinkles covering the “frosted donut heel.”
The limited edition run arrives just in time for the Boston Marathon to celebrate the “symbiotic relationship between running, coffee and donuts,” which is perfect. They also features multiple sets of laces along with “hot coffee” and “iced coffee” insoles. This is not the first major food brand sneaker line, of course. Just this month Pizza Hut launched a pair of high tops that can order pizzas and pause your television. But these are surely one of the first to at least maintain a legitimate performance utility. They also come in a donut box, so there’s that.
