Wylie Dufresne, wd~50 chef/owner and force behind Du's Donuts and Coffee, has collaborated with Eleven Madison Park's Executive Pastry Chef Mark Welker on an especially fall-appropriate doughnut.

Starting Friday, those willing to brave the line can try the buckwheat doughnut with an apple cider glaze, topped with puffed buckwheat groats (aka hulled or crushed grains/oats), apple chips and a sprinkle of Maldon salt.

Available Nov 3 at both Du's Donuts and Coffee locations, Williamsburg: 107 N 12 St (between Berry and Wythe), 718-215-8770; Soho: 62 Spring St (at Lafayette), 718-215-8770
