It's a Brewery. It's a Beer Garden. It's Waiting.
GARDEN PARTY

It's a Brewery. It's a Beer Garden. It's Waiting.

Good things come to those who wait. Which, in this case, involves a huge new brewery and indoor/outdoor restaurant and beer garden called 2 Tread Brewery that opened today in downtown Santa Rosa. They thought you could use another essential stop on your Wine Country craft beer tours, is all.

Here's Another New Cookie Dough Scoop Shop. You Don't Mind.
ROLLING IN DOUGH

Here's Another New Cookie Dough Scoop Shop. You Don't Mind.

When it rains cookie dough, it pours it. Hot on the heels of the Cookie Dough Parlor is Doughp in the Myriad. It's bringing flavors like “This S'more Is Hella Lit," "Cold Brew Is BAE" and “White Girl," which, oddly enough, has dried cranberries and white chocolate chips but no rosé.

FLIGHT NIGHT

Turn-of-the-20th-Century London: The Bar

Head to the newly reopened Matrix this weekend to… bypass that bar for now and enter the Concorde instead, the bar-within-a-bar located in the back of the Matrix with a quarterly rotating theme. First up: classic London hotel bars at the turn of the 20th century. It was a good London.

Now open Thursdays and Fridays, The Concorde at Matrix, 3138 Fillmore St (between Greenwich and Pixley), 415-598-9922

Basically Just Tons of BBQ and Music

You're going to want to grab tickets to Friday's BBQ, Brews, Blends and Blues party at One Market. And you're going to want to do that for the chef-prepared meat extravaganza that you’ll be pairing with local brews and Sommelier-selected wines. Normal backyard BBQ stuff.

Seven French Chefs Throw a Six-Course Paired Dinner for Houston

Do some good and have a great dinner at the same time this Sunday by getting tickets to the Houston Benefit Dinner at Piperade, where seven of the city's finest French chefs are preparing a six-course, wine-paired menu with proceeds going to the Houston Food Bank. This doesn't feel optional.

Sept 24, 6pm, $175, Piperade, 1015 Battery St (at Green), 415-391-2555, email here for tickets
