There comes a time in a pizza truck's life.

When it just wants to settle down.

To get serious about your kale bacon pizzas.

That time has come for Casey's Pizza, which now slings its market-y Neapolitan pies alongside some much-needed beer from a new brick-and-mortar location, now soft-open in Mission Bay.

This is the kind of cozy spot you'll take over with co-workers once the whistle blows. Just take your seats along the wooden bench. Or at the green tile bar, if you'd like to be a little closer to the pizza and beer.

Speaking of which, there are now at least twice as many of their made-from-scratch, made-to-order pizzas in here. Roughly six to eight compared with the truck's small handful. And yes, there is beer. So if you suddenly find yourselves in possession of a bacon kale pie with a bunch of Black Sand Beer's 2x2 IPAs, you've done right by everyone.

Now you have pizza and you have beer. That should essentially take care of all your critical needs for the moment, though they will start serving lunch and ice cream sundaes in the future.

Also, the truck is still out there.

So is the truth, we're told.
