If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then brunch is... what?

Instead of pondering that, let's actually all just agree that they got it wrong and keep this thing moving.

Directly to Cracked & Battered, a new place in Potrero Hill that serves brunch seven days a week for your eating-brunch-seven-days-a-week pleasure. It's soft-open now and here's the slideshow to prove it

It's a cozy little spot. Nothing too crazy. Just some rustic, mismatched, wood-paneled walls, corrugated tin counters and a whole mess of eggs. If you were raised in a fancy barn, you'd feel right at home here.

As you and whoever you're afternoon delighting with abate that fictional homesickness, consider doing so with some traditional comfort food dishes like fried chicken and waffles or smoked salmon eggs benedict. Just like mom used to make, if mom made those things.

Or perhaps you're looking for something a little more adventurous. In which case you'll promptly order some Shaksouka or the Nasi Goreng with Indian cabbage fried rice, two eggs and fried chicken.

And if you're looking for something even more adventurous...

Not sure. Maybe try skydiving or something.
