Here's a Bright Idea

Coocepts uses state-of-the-art 3D printing to make really cool wireless lamps that look like lit-up moons, dandelions and city skylines. The moon lamps will definitely come in handy should you be interested in recreating last week’s eclipse. Or just interested in creating some extra reading light.

They're Partying at Sir Henri Now
THE ROOFTOP GET-DOWN

They're Partying at Sir Henri Now

By weeknight, Sir Henri is an elegant cocktail bar run by expert barman Gil Bouhana. There's an eye-catching bar cart, mid-century furnishings and drinks served in honeydew. By Friday, they're now allowing a person to start playing music loudly so you can move rhythmically to it. Always a good addition to a rooftop.

Fridays, Sir Henri, 37 W 24th St (between Broadway and 6th), 212-243-0800

Saturday
It's From a Couple of Maialino Vets
THE NEW BROOKLYN ITALIAN

It's From a Couple of Maialino Vets

Chris McDade and James O'Brien, late of Maialino, are, respectively, handling the food and drinks at this new Columbia Waterfront spot, which aims to mix Italian and Southern. We've got photos right here, but if you're more of a reader, expect cavatelli, hot chicken Milanese and bocce. It's got the requisite Brooklyn back yard.

If You're Not a Beyoncé Fan...
THE SINGLE-MINDED PARTY

If You're Not a Beyoncé Fan...

...Don't come. Saturday at Baby's All Right is all Beyoncé, all the time, all night. You'll dance, drink, see Bey-themed drag shows, and make sure to tip with your card.

Monday
Sausage and Rock Music at Ethyl's
THE LABOR DAY PARTY #1

Sausage and Rock Music at Ethyl's

What screams "America" more than a Labor Day spent chilling on a patio with a hot dog cart on the Upper East Side? How about doing that with a cocktail in your hand and a band called Charlie Sub & Sound Dogs rocking a stage?

Sep 4, 12pm-4am, Summer's End Pop Festival at Ethyl's Alcohol & Food, 1629 2nd Ave (between 84th and 85th), 212-300-4132

A Low Country Boil at the Standard East Village
THE LABOR DAY PARTY #2

A Low Country Boil at the Standard East Village

In the south garden of the Standard East Village, they'll do Labor Day with a three-course boil that includes shrimp, ribs, hush puppies, banana cream pie, buckets of beers and frozen jungle birds. The cocktail, not the bird.
