The Treasury Has Arrived. You’ll Like the Treasury.

Once upon a time, so much caviar.

The end.

We meant “The beginning.” We screwed that story all up. Anyway, the Treasury just happened in FiDi. It’s got good drinks. It’s got elevated bar food. It’s got an all-star team behind it involving people from Range, Absinthe and Bacar. And it opens Wednesday.

Upon entering, you’ll feel like you’re in a 19th-century, New York Gilded Age watering hole. There’s a dramatically curving bar, marble and mahogany details, and ornate chandeliers that will make you think something like, “This is a very good-looking bar.” Here, see for yourself.

The nice vibes and its central downtown location will make this an obvious play for after-work drinks. Maybe you’ll make merry over a round of Shark Tanks with whiskey, huckleberry, coconut and absinthe. Maybe you’ll just sit there and eat oysters. Either way, they have a menu, and it’s a good menu.

And, right. Three levels of caviar service exist here: Estate, Select and Reserve. Each of which comes with brioche, crème fraîche, chives and quail eggs.

Now they’re just showing off.
