You have... not a whole lot in common with these men.
And yet, there’s a new spot determined to give you a solid icebreaker...
Adjust your shutter speed for Red Digital Cinema, a Wynwood shop/gallery giving you access to the same digital cameras used by Hollywood directors, now open. (See the slideshow.)
Not exactly your typical digital cameras in here. Yep, these bad boys are capable of recording images at up to 30 frames per second—to start. Real film-quality stuff that’s been used to shoot House of Cards, Gone Girl and The Hobbit. Solid productions, those.
Anyway, their new digs are befitting a proper Wynwood denizen. All custom built using metal and distressed wood, with high-resolution stills on the walls shot using Red cameras. Oh, and that cop car in the middle of the space: a prop for hands-on camera demonstrations. Which... you’ll probably want to take advantage of.
Because there are a few different options you’re working with here. 4K, 5K and 6K wi-fi-equipped specimens capable of turning the home video of your cannonball pool jump into a cinematic odyssey that’s worthy of a Sundance submission.
Or at least a YouTube upload.
