Truffle Pizza and Rum Drinks in FiDi

None 10 Photos Serafina Boston
We hope you’re ready to hear about truffles, pizza and truffles on pizza.

And if not, we’ll give you a moment.

Moment’s over.

Say ciao to Serafina Boston, two gleaming floors of Italian delight without end, opening Wednesday in the Financial District. (Your slideshow and your menu.)

This was Radius. That was fun. But now it’s the first New England colony of an NYC pizza empire, and it may prove useful under the following conditions:

After-work pies.
It’s 5pm. You have three needs: 1) a Late Night in Rome with rum, maraschino and grapefruit from the squiggly-shaped marble bar, 2) a Tartufo Nero pie with truffle oil, truffle cheese and black truffle, and 3) a first-floor lounge to consume said things with that newcomer from sales. Consider all needs met.

The après-pie date.
You and that newcomer have really bonded over a shared appreciation for crust. Continue the adventure over charred octopus in the airy dining room studded with stills from old Italian cinema. Of course there’s Fellini.

Expert-level toasting situations.
There’s a downstairs feastery that accommodates 100. Or you and 29 friends can convene in the former bank vault that’s now a private dining room.

So it’s a pizza vault now.
