The weekend looks forward to hockey season.
Turns out patios have postseasons, too. The ones where you reserve your own fire pit in advance, they give you a faux-fur blanket and you tuck into lobster lasagna and hot buttered rum. For the rest of the month, that’s what’s happening at Bourbon Steak. It’s like claiming home patio advantage.

You probably didn’t save everything you ever recorded on VHS. But some people did. And now here comes some other people who want to screen said VHS tapes. This week, it’s Halloween TV specials, complete with vintage commercials, plus some Ghostbusters and Freddy Krueger footage.
Good reasons to go to Baltimore:
1. A Beltway series.
2. Baltimore Beer Week. Think: cask ale festivals, tap takeovers, oyster nights and a DC versus Baltimore
beer battle. Maybe we can beat them at that.
You’ve been working hard. Actually, we have no idea if that’s true. We do know you’re probably looking forward to a three-day weekend. Here’s another reason: all of Richard Sandoval’s places (El Centro, Masa 14, Toro Toro, etc.) are extending their bottomless brunches. It’s what Columbus would have wanted.
