If your answer sounds anything like “a building,” “lots of buildings” or “what window...”
Well... you could do better.
Set your sights on MO Bar + Lounge, a plush sanctuary of feel-good cocktailery with one of the best damn views in the city, now open in the Mandarin Oriental.
This place feels like a sexy, clandestine hotel bar. And that’s because... it is one. To find it: walk through the Mandarin’s lobby and hang a right. Once you’ve spotted the wall of bamboo shoots, you’re golden. Because that’s where it is.
After-work drinks. Pre-dinner cocktails with a date. You can do either here. For the latter, there’s a high-top in front of a massive glass window that looks out onto the Brickell skyline. Goes well with a dwindling sunset, blue-crab sushi and hushed conversations over some Singapore Slings.
For the former, you’ll want a seat at the marble backlit bar. Your drinks: courtesy of one of the Regent Cocktail Club’s best barkeeps. He’s making homemade infusions here, along with a heavy-hitting roster of classic cocktails. Like the Clover Club with gin, lemon, raspberry and egg white.
It’s so important to get in that lean protein.
