You know, the Russian women’s team and all.
And that’s fine. Solid choice.
But... there are some partially nude females who require your attention.
Oh, and deer heads.
They’re at Delancey’s Miami, an eclectic little lounge for late-night cocktailing, opening tonight in the Townhouse.
You might remember Delancey’s brief yet glorious three-day stint during Basel last year. The free-flowing cocktails. The racy art. The various progeny of Rolling Stones band members roaming the premises. Well, good news: it’s here to stay.
The place looks like some famous ’80s photographer’s eccentric living room—bright velvet couches, gold-mirrored trunks that double as cocktail tables and tasteful posters of seminude women by Helmut Newton. Also, walls filled with... deer heads.
Which is to say, this isn’t some huge, LIV-like mega-club. Just a cozy place for you to kick back with a few cocktails from the long wooden stretch of bar while you listen to some DJ-spun soul, funk and house and familiarize yourself with some new people.
But if you’re looking to really get to know a special someone, there’s a cushioned little nook in there conveniently ensconced by green hedges.
Leave your clippers at home.
