Sometimes after a long day, you just want to kick back on the couch, have a drink and watch the Rangers come one out away from a perfect game.

You can do that here.

Just ask the other customers to keep it down.

Raise a glass to The Wine Poste, a new wine shop you’ll frequent for all your malbec-buying/party-throwing needs (of which you have many), now open in the Design District.

This is kind of like a loft-style apartment that’s licensed to sell wine. It’s got a kitchen, a few couches, some long banquet tables and an entire room dedicated to fermented grapes. So, yeah, not unlike your place.

If a bottle of red is all you need, no problem. Just stroll into the wine room on your right, peruse the racks and pick up something French for dinner tonight. But if you’ve got time to kill, you’re free to crack open that bottle, seize a glass from the kitchen and hang out for a while. Settle into the L-shaped sofa, grab a magazine, see what’s in the fridge, invite some friends over. Really make yourself at home.

Down the road, these guys will start hosting all kinds of wine tastings and dinners. But for now, just throw your own. The space is available to rent out for pretty much whatever.

And you throw a damn fine whatever.
