Beer Heaven in Fenway’s Shadow

None 6 Photos Yard House
We’ll keep this short.

We just found beer heaven. And it’s right next to Fenway.

Like we said: short.

Take your first look at Yard House, your new shrine to the glory of precision-chilled draft beer from all over the planet, opening this Sunday in the Fenway Triangle.

Walking in here may prove to be a little intimidating. First, there’s the neo-industrial feel to the space (poured concrete, brushed steel, urban-y wall art) and the sheer size (it’ll fit 600 of your friends). Not to mention over 140 different soul-repairing draft suds, including strong Belgians like Gulden Draak, Delirium Tremens and Piraat served in goblets (the glassware of choice for masters of the universe).

You’ll want to head here before a Sox game (or during one... they have over 30 flat-screens to watch Pedroia unleash the laser show), survey the menu and start with some grilled Korean pork belly street tacos. To wash it down, go for a 32-ounce half-yard of chosen brew (note: this may lead to bad decisions later).

In good weather, you’ll also want to enjoy a few beverages at the back bar, which has retractable garage doors leading to the two raised fire pits on the patio.

One fire pit is never enough.
