Aether Way

An RV Filled with Cold-Weather Gear in Hayes

You’ve done strange and unmentionable things in RVs.

While you’ll carry those memories to your grave, today starts a new chapter in your RV life.

A fresh start.

Note: jackets, deck chairs and a fireplace will be heavily involved...

Step inside Aetherstream, an intimate outerwear store on wheels dispensing state-of-the-art jackets and other backcountry and city gear, now open (for the next two months) in the Hayes Proxy.

Think of this as your living room away from home, where you’ll decamp to when you need your weekly fill of jacket purchasing, fireplace moments and interesting book perusals.

You can’t miss the 34-foot Airstream PanAmerica, but you could also look out for the military-grade, Army-green tent out front. Once inside, you’ll notice a nice blend of rugged ski-lodge flair mixed with well-appointed elements from wrenches and axes to framed vacation snapshots from the kind of vacations you heartily endorse.

Ah, right—gear, too. Like the military jacket that’s made from the same waterproof fabric that the Brits used for bombardier suits in WWII and technical jackets made warm enough for ski runs in Tahoe.

Or if you’re looking toward spring, this is the only place where you can preview Aether’s new line.

Of course, one man’s winter is another’s spring.
