We've got the inside track to the latest Barking Irons soirée, with live music, free drinks and free t-shirts (all weekend) for UD members. Also stepping up are Clinique, Garde Robe and Bryant Park Hotel with a winter stay-cation package.
Things to do for November 29, 2007
The Weekend Starts Here
The five o'clock sunset just means there's more night in your weekend.
Waylaid for months by the water department (on record as staunchly anti-beer), this Austria-by-way-of-Williamsburg lager hall is finally opening its doors to the public. Officially. For real.
Snag some of Rogan Gregory's organic threads on the cheap, with graphic tees for just $20
and sweatshirts for $60. Always trust a man with two first names. Or is it

Surface to Air
This Paris-based group blends art and fashion...and math apparently, with jeans subtracted to $75 (from $190) and rings halved from $50 to $25.

Minimalist style meets minimalist prices, with suits starting at $399 and ties at $35 and up.
Wine Vaults at St. Regis' Adour
Although the St. Regis' new resto doesn't open its doors until January, Adour's personal wine vaults—handy little private wine lockers that hold twelve bottles each—are now on sale. Once you're a proud owner, you can stop by for a table and a glass anytime you feel like it and get the full treatment from the Adour staff, minus the sommelier, of course.
Mas Farmhouse is getting a little...mas farmhouse. The new dining room at this go-to date spot will nearly double their capacity, and comes just in time to prevent hypothermia in the line outside. Unfortunately, they're cutting late-night hours in exchange.
Mechanical Bull Tourney at Johnny Utah's
Johnny Utah's has paired with the PBR (that's Professional Bull Riders, not the hipster/steelworker beer) to host a mechanical rodeo competition for the next three Mondays leading up to the real deal rodeo at MSG in January. Non-mechanical bull rider J.B. Mauney will be there to judge. Saddle up.
