Things to do for July 03, 2007
The Weekend Starts Here
We know it's Tuesday, but do it for your country...
4th of July Pig Roast at Bar Martignetti
Bar Martignetti's first annual indoor/sidewalk pig roast kicks off at 10 a.m. with pulled pork sandwiches, cornbread, blueberry pie and tall boys. And that's just breakfast.
Starting this week, MoMA will stay open "late" (9 p.m.) on summer Thursdays for the MoMA@Nite series. It's your chance to see the Richard Serra exhibit in a whole new light (darkness) with the added pleasure of a bar and live music (the big sound of... Orchestre de Chambre Miniature) in the sculpture garden.
When the lights...go down...in the city... fake Journey (Evolution) and fake Bon Jovi (Bad Medicine) play a double bill. Nothing says 4th of July like hearing Bad Medicine sing... Bad Medicine.
