Malibu Farm Finally Takes Miami By Way of California

Are you ready?

You don't look ready.

Let's try this...

Malibu Farm, the beloved California-based restaurant, is now open for breakfast and lunch at the Eden Roc. And there's a pool inside of it. Slideshow time.

Okay, now you're ready.

Walking in, you'll immediately pick up on the West Coast vibe. Let's see, there's the spectacular view of the ocean. The bright, airy feel. The whitewashed wood. The greenery. It's all sort of super ideal for a rebirth after whatever the night before brought your way. Related: you'll want to press on to the bar immediately.

And what a bar it is. A wraparound contraption situated outdoors on the deck where you'll sip watermelon and cucumber-infused vodka drinks while staring thoughtfully out at the ocean.

As your drinks near the bottom of their glasses, head to a wraparound booth back inside. Above you: that sunken pool, where you'll watch hotel guests swim by. An obvious and great topic of conversation between bites of your fried egg sandwich or cauliflower-crust pizza with mozzarella, heirloom tomato, pesto and roasted cauliflower.

Just don't point. Random swimming strangers hate that.

On a typical Wednesday, Ginger Harris is likely seeking reposado tequila, squeezing her way to the front of a concert or jumping on the back of an Indian motorcycle. That’s just Wednesdays, though.
