Flirtatious Rabbits, Mini Golf and a Carousel in the Sky

These Are the Things That Make Up Magic Hour

Recall a couple weeks ago, when we brought you everything you need to know about the new Moxy Times Square.

Recall how we mentioned a gorgeous rooftop lounge with an amusement park theme in the works.

Now, stop recalling and behold the beauty of Magic Hour: that aforementioned rooftop lounge, now open for after-dark revelry.

It comes to us from the infamous TAO group, and there's a whole lot going on here. Notably: a giant funhouse mirror, some not-so-innocent-looking oversized animal statues, an east side area overlooking the Empire State Building that takes on an elegant garden party vibe, a west side area with a miniature putt-putt course featuring flirtatious rabbits in place of windmills, Maine lobster rolls, Dippin' Dots shots, decadent cocktails and the option to order a $99 room downstairs off the menu.

...On the off chance you find you don't want the night to end.

Now open, Magic Hour at Moxy Times Square, 485 7th Ave (at 36th), 212-967-6699, see the slideshow
