Mr. Cartoon Designed This Bottle of Tequila

It's For Dia de los Muertos, But You Can Buy It Now

By Hadley Tomicki ·

When does a bottle of tequila look even more like a bottle of tequila?

When it bears a skeleton mariachi in a sombrero painted by Mr. Cartoon.

The legendary West Coast tattoo and graffiti artist designed a bottle of Cazadores Blanco for Dia de los Muertos, and it hits stores today. Famous for inking Snoop, Dre and Eminem among other celebrities, and for designing the Cypress Hill logo, obtaining Cartoon's work typically is pricey with a long-waiting list. This can get you there much faster.

The blue agave tequila inside remains unchanged, but the bottle uses Cartoon's famed fine-point, shaded tattooing style to depict a guitar-wielding skeleton in a big-ass sombrero beside a rose on an all-white bottle. Muy Mexicano all around.

The plan is for Mr. Cartoon to also release a line of bandanas featuring some of his designs for Cazadores to go up on his site's shop, with 100% of proceeds going to disaster relief in Mexico. But it looks like those may currently still be in the works.

The limited edition Mr. Cartoon bottle is currently available nationwide in liquor stores for $21.
