Using Just a Splash of Cholula

If there's one thing you don't probably need help with, it's taking a break from labor to tuck into some meat and a stiff drink. But here we are, regardless, letting you know about a few great drinks you can make for friends over the three-day weekend while standing within 30 feet of a grill. We wish we knew how to quit you.

Ordinarily, we wouldn’t push you to obtain a watermelon vodka. But only in times when you didn’t have the opportunity to drink Watermelon Bloody Marys spiked with Cholula. Mercifully, this is precisely one of those times. And so we set all snobbery aside so everyone can simply just enjoy some booze, watermelon and a little harmless heat amongst friends. No judgment. To Labor Days everywhere.

 Watermelon Mary

2 oz fresh tomato juice

2 oz fresh watermelon juice

¼ oz lemon juice

2 oz of Three Olives Fresh Watermelon

½ tsp Worcestershire

2-3 dashes of Cholula

1 pinch sea salt, celery salt, white pepper and grated fennel seeds

Mix all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Pour into double old-fashioned glass. Rim with salt, garnish with watermelon cube rolled in freshly grated horseradish and cucumber slice.
