Two Weeks of 13 Bonaparte Starts Now

For a mere two weeks, the Parisians of 13 Bonaparte are setting up shop down on the LES. It’s where they’ll be unveiling their new denim collection, and also where they’ll be plying you with handsome knits, poplin shirts, crewneck tees and other things you would benefit from putting on your body. (Per usual, we’ll be posting some photos of said things up on our Facebook page.)

Apr 19-May 1, 11am-8pm, 13 Bonaparte pop-up shop, 2 Rivington St (between Chrystie and Bowery)

Honoring Prince, House of Yes–Style

Our favorite Brooklyn venue is doing a night of Prince music, dancing and prizes—of both the cash and alcohol variety—for the best Prince looks. Hence the “our favorite” part.

Apr 20, 10pm-4am, no cover, House of Yes, 2 Wyckoff Ave (at Jefferson), Brooklyn, 646-838-4937, RSVP here

Follow Us Into Beer Mansion

For the beer lovers among us, here’s this event with five beer-themed rooms (one is “Tropics”-themed, with sour ales and citrusy pilsners, another’s “Darkness”-themed with heavy stouts and porters...you get the idea). Once inside, you’ll get unlimited tastings, observe some spin art and have some food from Roberta’s and Frankel’s.

Spend Record Store Day in a Record Store Because That Makes Sense

One of your options is Rough Trade NYC, where they’ll be hosting bands and DJs all day, with St. Vincent kicking things off late-morning. Such a St. Vincent time to play.

Apr 22, 9am-10pm, no cover, Rough Trade NYC, 64 N 9th St (between Wythe and Kent), Brooklyn, 718-388-4111

Sunday
Nothing Like a Duck Waffle Sandwich to Start Sunday Off Right
THE BRUNCH

Nothing Like a Duck Waffle Sandwich to Start Sunday Off Right

To be specific, smoked maple duck confit, mango-pineapple slaw and jalapeño aioli stuffed between buttermilk waffles. They’ve also got breakfast mac and cheese with chicharrones, lobster benedict on cheddar biscuits and vodka-raspberry-champagne drinks, if you’re into that kind of thing. Oh, and we’re talking about the launch of brunch at this Greenwich Village spot. Got a little ahead of ourselves there.

Sat-Sun starting Apr 22, noon-4pm, The Anthony, 183 Bleecker St (between Sullivan and Macdougal), 212-804-7771
