Every year, chef Hillary Sterling celebrates the fifth night of Passover Seder with a ridiculously good eight-course meal at Vic’s. There will be matzo from scratch, gnocchi with pea shoots, mackerel with charred baby onions, roasted lamb with red wine rhubarb and other delicacies. Four other delicacies, to be specific.

We’re living in a time when basically every video rental store in existence has closed its doors. And then there’s Greenpoint’s Film Noir, which is actually expanding to also be an art house cinema, where you can swing by to rent hard-to-find titles or for a screening of an underground cult classic. Long live video rental.
