Your Tomato Soup’s Not Going to Believe This

Here’s the latest in that collaboration series Doughnut Project’s doing with local restaurants: this time they’re joining forces with Clinton Hall to bring you oozing, spicy, mozzarella-filled donuts, served with a bowl of homemade tomato soup. Just make sure you’re one of the first 20 people there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and you’re set. We believe in you.

Fri-Sun starting Feb 17, $11, Clinton Hall, 90 Washington St (at Rector), 212-363-6000

THE DATE NIGHT

Grab a Mask and Make for Carnevale di Venezia

You’ll put on your finest medieval garb. (Sure, a suit and mask will work.) You’ll get up to this UWS trattoria, full of ornate decor and wrought-iron candelabras and other things reminiscent of the Northern Italian Renaissance. Then you’ll partake in things like sautéed calf liver while listening to a live violin. Either that or some Netflix.

Feb 17-25, Machiavelli, 519 Columbus Ave (between 85th and 86th), 212-724-2658

THE FLEETING BREWS

Threes Brewing Is Here, Until It’s Not

Threes is setting up shop in Greenpoint for a bit, where they’ll have a rotating selection of their good beers like Unreliable Narrator IPA and Everything Was Forever Until It Was No More Russian Imperial Stout. Also happening: snacks from the Meat Hook. They’re thinking jerky and bacon-cheddar dip would be good with a stout, and it’s hard not to love people who think about bacon-cheddar dip.

THE CLOTHES

There’s a Lot of Handsomeness at This Baldwin Pop-Up

It’s a pop-up shop and showroom inspired by the juxtaposition between city life and Mother Nature. Which basically translates to some good-looking tees, jeans and jackets in a space filled with a whole lot of wheat. Yes, wheat.

Feb 17-19, 11am-7pm, Baldwin Pop-Up, 199 Mott St (between Kenmare and Spring)

Sunday

THE DRINKING FOR A CAUSE

Let’s Do Karaoke and Eat Spicy Pork Ragù

You’re always up for a good dance party. Helps if it’s somewhere that’s also got karaoke, spicy pork ragù and Asian-ish nachos, a place where all profits will go to the International Rescue Committee assisting refugees. Hey, that’s what’s happening at Insa on Sunday. The old karaoke-nacho-philanthropy trifecta.

Feb 19, 11:30pm-3:30am, Insa, 328 Douglass St (between 3rd and 4th), Brooklyn, 718-855-2620
