THE BRUNCH

Look Here, It’s Pancetta-and-Pecorino-Stuffed Ravioli

Things to know about the new brunch at Café Medi:

1) The menu’s got burgers with piave cheese and pancetta, Mediterranean-style croque madames with burrata and parmesan, and pancetta-and-pecorino-stuffed sweet corn ravioli.
2) The guys responsible for Beaumarchais and Provocateur are behind the ambience.
3) You can derive pretty much everything else you need to know from #2.

Sunday
It’s the Chelsea Girls 50th Anniversary, So This Makes Sense
THE SCREENING

It’s the Chelsea Girls 50th Anniversary, So This Makes Sense

The man who originally screened Warhol’s Chelsea Girls 50 years ago will be presenting it here. If you haven’t seen it: Warhol shot over six hours of vignettes inside the Chelsea Hotel, and then split-screened them by showing a dozen 16mm reels side-by-side. If you have seen it, disregard that last sentence.

Monday
Chicago Beer, Chicago Dogs, Chicago Tattoos
THE DOGS

Chicago Beer, Chicago Dogs, Chicago Tattoos

Chicago’s Revolution Brewing is coming to NYC and declaring their presence with a party at this UES beer hall. There will be ample beer, hot dogs the way Chicagoans like ’em (read: a vegetable garden on top) and regrettable decisions courtesy of a guy from Three Kings doing free Chicago-themed tattoos.

AND NOW...

Ceviche and Oyster Shooters Inside Chelsea Market

The team behind LA taco stand Los Tacos No. 1 just launched this Tijuana-and-Baja-inspired seafood stand inside Chelsea Market, for lunches that call for spicy shrimp-clam-octopus ceviche, oyster shooters and fish tacos. In short, seafood.
