It’s called Maurice Vendôme, and it’s just now available stateside for all the celebrations, toasts and thirst-quenching activities that tend to occupy your weekend.
The stuff is made exclusively from grand cru chardonnay grapes—a blanc de blancs, they call it. And it’s got that kind of sweet, kind of floral thing happening, with notes of white fruit and a finish described as “charming.” Which is just what you look for in your finishes.
And yes, lest you were concerned, it is indeed available in magnums.
