With 500 meters of cable (that’s almost one-third of a mile, by the way) and plenty of electricity, Malaysian light artist Jun Hao Ong has created a political statement with his site-specific installation at the Urban Xchange 2015 art fest. It’s about the economic conditions in Butterworth, an area in Penang. Or something. But if you just think it looks cool, that’s fine, too.
