A couple of really good pieces of intel on the Branson private island front.

First, the long-awaited Branson Estate on Moskito Island is ready to begin booking in the early part of next year. Branson acquired the island—located in the British Virgin Islands a mile from his Necker Island home—in 2007.  Now it’s part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio of retreats, and it’s been diligently updated with all the basics: wraparound infinity pool, hot tub, swim-up bar, etc., etc.

But if you can’t wait that long to wiggle your toes in the white beaches of the Caribbean, Branson said that you’re welcome to crash at his Necker Island estate during Thanksgiving week. A team of 100 staff will be at your disposal for five days, of course. They’ll set up treasure hunts and beach Olympics—you know, those usual Thanksgiving kinds of things.

The price: $20,575 per couple for a five-night stay.

Includes wi-fi.
