Hiroshi Nakamura designed the sinewy Ribbon Chapel, a marriage destination in Hiroshima, Japan. It won prestigious Leaf Awards this month for both Hospitality and Overall Design. Its interconnected spiral double staircases symbolize marriage’s twists and turns—not that you’re totally screwed.
