Everything to Know About Archer

Today you’ve got a lot to take in. (Lamb chops, specifically.) So we’ll just get right to it...

To Archer New York, a colorful stunner of a Garment District hotel with a David Burke Group restaurant and bar. The hotel’s open today, the restaurant and bar will follow tomorrow.

There’s much attractive/delicious newness to behold:

The restaurant is...
David Burke Fabrick, a collection of quilted ceilings, perfect dinner-for-two nooks and wildly patterned booths where you’re going with the skewered duck on a pink salt slab and the lamb-chops-and-ribs vindaloo.

The bar is...
Bugatti Bar. It’s soon to be patioed, has its own balcony of wine and will be the number one meeting-the-smoky-eyes-of-a-stranger spot in the neighborhood.

Between the two are the yellowest tufted-leather sofas ever.
They’re just so yellow.

The David Burke experience extends to the room service.
That’s lobster mac and cheese, mattress-side, staycation glory.

There’s a copy of The Little Prince in your room.
For whimsy. And bedtime.

There’s one more thing forthcoming.
It’s got Empire State Building views, and rhymes with schmooftop...
