A Relaxed Sports Bar with a Giant Patio

None 4 Photos Park View Patio
Two things you need to remember this weekend:

1. Set your clocks back an hour.
2. Hit one final patio bar while the weather remains unseasonably balmy.

We can only help so much with the first. Just use a Post-it or something.

But for the second, may we direct your attention to the quite straightforwardly named Park View Patio, now soft-open on Georgia in the old Blue Banana space.

What we have here: a sports-focused bar that takes it easy on the TVs (there are only six inside) and the team memorabilia (there’s none). But there are chandeliers made from wooden pallets and Edison bulbs, and a bar backed with old shutters. That’s your spot with a smaller group to take in some hockey or college football (but not college hockey).

Out back is made for big groups. You’ll find another bar and a dozen or so picnic tables, which, by the time winter hits, will be covered in a 40-foot tent.

Right now, you’ll be drinking drafts like Devils Backbone and Allagash White. They’re also building out a kitchen, but for now, they’re turning things over to rotating vendors, like ice cream sandwich maker Milk Cult.

Goes well with hockey.
