Steak Frites and Bordeaux in a Brickell Bistro

None 3 Photos L’Entrecôte de Paris
Look, it’s a post-holiday Tuesday.

No need to complicate things.

Steak. Fries. Wine. It’s what’s for dinner.

It’s also pretty much the only thing on the menu...

Say bonjour to L’Entrecôte de Paris, a charming French bistro supplying you with your daily recommended allowance of steak frites, now open in Brickell.

Yeah, steak and fries. Big thing over in France. Now, it’s a big thing over in Brickell. Good news from Captain Obvious: that’s a hell of a lot closer.

A casual business lunch over some Left Bank Bordeaux: that’s a viable play at this Parisian brasserie. But come back at night. Bring someone tall, comely and... uncomplicated. Because like we said: steak and fries. That’s really it. Okay, we’re lying. There’s also a salad.

Anyway, ensconce yourselves in a red leather banquette and go with the house special—yup, a plate full of finely sliced beef and crunchy fries that’ve been bathed in a 21-ingredient secret sauce. Which is essentially a really complex béarnaise. Yeah, we’ve never been great with the secret thing.

So you’ll eat. You’ll enjoy. You’ll lock eyes over fried shoestring potatoes. And afterward, you’ll head out to their sprawling terrace for an after-dinner drink.

You can bring the fries.
