Piece of Wake

An Alarm That Doesn’t Acknowledge Time

None And now, a few spring traveling basics:

1) Always keep track of your passport.
2) Don’t forget your toothbrush.
3) Know how to ask for a grilled cheese in any language.
4) Never, ever sleep through your destination.

Seriously, don’t do that. Don’t do that last one...

Instead, get this thing called WakeMeHere, a new location-based iPhone app that taps into your GPS and self-activates whenever you get where you’re going, available now.

Okay, so here’s what we know: most alarm clocks in the world run off of time. And here’s what else we know: this isn’t most alarm clocks. Nope. This thing runs off of location. So instead of setting it for 9:17am, you’ll set it for Grandma’s house. Or Phuket. Or... wherever the hell you’re going.

Remember that time you took a train to South Carolina and woke up in North... Virginia. Yeah. You should’ve downloaded this. You should’ve downloaded this and searched for your hotel’s address on the map. Your phone would’ve followed your path and started beeping when you approached your destination.

But hey, now you know.

And knowing is half the... anyway, new alarm app.
