If Del Frisco’s Had a Kid Brother...

None 4 Photos Del Frisco’s Grille
You’re no stranger to Del Frisco’s.

The juicy steaks. The white tablecloths. The credit card duels to the death for the check.

But it was missing something: a rooftop overlooking McKinney Avenue.

Until now.

Meet Del Frisco’s Grille, a two-story spot of schmoozing, steak sandwiches and vino, now open in Uptown.

Think of this as Del Frisco’s more laid-back brother—the one who skipped grad school and tried acting in Hollywood for two years. But now he’s back to run the family business, by which we mean serving up chicken schnitzels.

Here you’ll have some choices. For lunch with colleagues, you’ll want to camp out downstairs by the massive glass wine room. Here your clients could go for Cheesesteak Eggrolls, while you take on the jalapeño bacon mac and cheese. (Your expense report will be impressed.)

But if you’re working on a more intimate kind of deal, climb up the glass staircase and head to the second-floor bar. Stop by for an M-Line (bourbon, triple sec and mint leaves), and for your date, the APT. 5D (vodka, muddled strawberries). And then out to the breezy rooftop patio, outfitted with cozy booths and (this is key) heaters.

Supplying your own heat is also encouraged.
